Part-time Bookkeeper
We’re Hiring! Church Bookkeeper (Part-Time – 29 Hours/Week)First Church of God is seeking a part-time Church Bookkeeper (29 hours/week) to join our staff and help support the ministry of our church through faithful financial stewardship.
We’re looking for someone who has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, enjoys working with numbers, values accuracy and confidentiality, and has experience in bookkeeping or accounting. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to serving others with excellence.Preferred Qualifications Include:• Degree in accounting or Bookkeeping and Acounting experience• Experience with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting• Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Excel or Google Sheets• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills• A servant’s heart and a desire to support the mission of First Church of God
