Cars Ministry provides vehicles to those living in Berrien County who are unable to meet their own transportation needs. These individuals are qualified through the First Church Community Care Team and a process that determines the level of their need and ability to financially maintain a car.
Community Food Network creates healthy communities by feeding individuals & families - body, mind and spirit. It replaces handouts and charity with meaningful involvement and community. We believe this cooperative effort can help maintain dignity and create relationships even as it helps provide for the physical needs of those Community Food Network serves.
Children of Promise is a global, non-profit ministry dedicated to rescuing, restoring, and releasing children from poverty and hopelessness. Children of Promise provides a future for the children under its care. It makes education, nutrition, health, and spiritual training priorities. In this way, it helps children to better their lives, enjoy health and vitality, and establish an eternal relationship with God through salvation.
Heart for Lebanon is a non-denominational Christian organization creating faith-defining environments that give under resourced families and children in Lebanon, many of which are Syrian refugees, the chance to encounter God and grow spiritually.
River of Life School in Benton Harbor exists to provide a Christ centered education to all children regardless of their socio-economic situation. River of Life celebrates the diversity of the body of Christ and equips children to serve God, people and creation to their fullest potential.
Lory's Place provides regularly scheduled peer support group sessions that allow children and adults to interact with peers who have suffered similar loss, or who are experiencing anticipatory grief. Lory's Place also offers a school outreach program, providing staff education and support, as well as peer grief supports in elementary, middle, and high school.
Mosaic CCDA brings people together, addressing a need for jobs, strengthening an employable workforce, and are building a stronger community in Benton Harbor and Berrien County, Michigan. Championing individuals to move forward in life as they take “steps to greatness”, we have four social enterprises dedicated to teaching new skills, rebuilding relationships, unlocking hope, and journeying with them toward an independent life.
