WHAT TO EXPECT

In the spring of 2010, the historic Benton Heights Church of God officially became the second Campus of First Church.

You’re invited to services this weekend! We have services every Sunday at 9:30 am (español) & 11:00am in the new Ministry Center.

Come and enjoy the casual and friendly community at Benton Heights. There is no dress code, feel free to dress however you’d like. Typically, we have children’s programming during both services. Checking in your children is an easy process done by our friendly volunteers.

Fun Fact: First Church opened up the second building on the Benton Heights Campus in November of 2019. The construction of the Benton Heights Ministry Center was the first new construction in over 40 years in the Benton Heights area!

THE BOOK OF HEBREWS
THE BOOK OF HEBREWS

Hebrews stands out for its deep exploration of the superiority of Christ and His new covenant over the old covenant given through Moses. It is a book that bridges the Old Testament and the New Testament, offering insights into the continuity and fulfillment of God’s plan through Jesus Christ.

The primary purpose of Hebrews is to encourage believers to remain steadfast in their faith in Christ, despite persecution and trials. The author seeks to demonstrate that Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God, surpassing the prophets, angels, and even Moses, and that His sacrifice is the perfect and final atonement for sin.
